WCP's history with the trust

During 2016, the governors and leadership teams within a group of local schools decided that we should take a positive and productive step to form an academy chain called the James Montgomery Academy Trust. The rationale behind this move was to give certainty in the changing education landscape and strengthen partnerships which are much needed to ensure we provide excellence in education for our community.

The schools forming the partnership were Brampton Cortonwood Infants, Brampton Ellis C of E Primary, Wath Central Primary, Wath C of E Primary, Wath Victoria Primary,  Mexborough St Johns and Hooton Pagnell Primary.
